Roselle flower (洛神花), Hawthorn (山楂) and Chen Pi Mei (陳皮梅) Drink

Are you one of the fan of Gong Cha Purple Plum Tea? I am. So since I try not to take cold drinks I tried to make my own Roselle drink from dried Roselle flowers, hawthorn and plum drink. One big pack of dried Roselle flower and hawthorn is only S$2 each! What you need to do is to pour hot water over the dried flowers, fruits and plum in a mug and let it infused for a few hours. You can substitute the plum with your favorite dried plum and add rock sugar to it. It tastes great!

I did some cut and paste on the health benefits of Roselle flowers and hawthorn.

Teh Halia

I literally get addicted to teh halia the first time i drink it, so when i could find it in the supermarket I was very happy.

Unfortunately the powdered version isnt as sweet and spicy (strong) as the coffeeshop version so I have mixed it with ginger powder drink (which was neglected in my family for quite some time). The end result? Wonderful!

It might be too sweet for some of you.

I tasted ginger milk (ginger with milk) in one of the spa resort in Indonesia (Javana Spa) and I was also hook to the drink.
